Christine Paluf Marries Dr. William Petit (Photos) ? Right Entertainment

Christine Paluf is the new bride of Dr. William Petit, who recently survived a horrifying home invasion that left the rest of his family dead. Now people are dying to see photos of his new wife.

I suppose it takes a certain kind of person to be able to dust themselves off and start a new life after something so horrible happens to them. This wasn?t just a traumatic event. It was something that left him completely alone and devastated.

Five years have passed and it appears Petit is ready to move on from the attack that left his wife strangled to death, and his two daughters burned alive. The only reason he survived was because he managed to crawl away to safety.

Later he would meet Paluf, who was a volunteer for the foundation that was set up to help the family after their terrible loss. Petit decided to stop practicing medicine and devote himself full time to bringing justice to others who suffer loses like he did. Paluf actually volunteered to do the photography for the foundation, and soon after they would start dating.

Now they are married! After the wedding, the officiant said:

?My theme for the prayer was this is the day for new beginnings?After having come through the home invasion and the death of his entire family ? this marriage was a time for new beginnings.?

He also told a reporter ?My wife and I hope that they have children, and that they would love those children just as much as [Petit] loved his other children??

You might wonder how the family of his slain wife feels about him remarrying. His deceased wife?s mother said that it was actually part of the healing process because it will help everyone move forward, and she of course said they really like his new wife.

Of course the two monsters who did this are facing lethal injection for their crimes. They have already been convicted and will be rotting in a cell until they are strapped to a bed and put to death.

That won?t bring back those two young girls or their mother, but it sounds like the right punishment to me.
