The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) will hold an open meeting on Oct. 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the SEMA Show Collision Repair and Refinish Stage, located in the Collision Repair & Refinish section of the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center near booth 10877.
The meeting will not only provide attendees with an afterhours vantage point of the show floor, but will provide insight into SCRS? 2012 initiatives and activities. The meeting precedes other industry events held throughout the week, both on the show floor and at the adjacent LVH hotel property. ?
The evening association meeting will include updates from SCRS Chairman and Executive Director Aaron Schulenburg, outlining current and future work initiatives the association has undertaken on behalf of its membership. ?
Attendees can expect specialty presentations from committee members and guests, including a detailed presentation from the SCRS Education Committee, led by committee member Toby Chess. This presentation will detail critical safety information about the importance of correct windshield bonding procedures, the materials available to the marketplace, and the equipment and training necessary to address the structural nature of today?s glass installations.
In addition to SCRS committee reports, Toyota Motor Sales Collision Business Development Consultant Rick Leos will present advancements the manufacturer is making to provide comprehensive estimate data to aid in the preparation of repair blueprints that reflect OEM-recommended procedures.
This meeting is open to any member of the industry who wishes to attend, and there is no registration fee.?
